At the Festival of Australia 2024, which will take place on November 18, attendees will explore immersive VR tunnels, allowing them to walk through significant landmarks and gain insights into the educational opportunities available in Australia.

Consul Vik Singh has pointed to the importance of the National Education Policy (NEP) in driving this collaboration between India and Australia, emphasizing the trend towards joint degree programs that offer flexibility for students to split their studies between the two countries. This progression is making Australia a sought-after destiny for those pursuing global education and career opportunities.

Future Opportunities for Indian Students

Notably, the Australia-India Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement (AI ECTA) enhances post-study work rights for Indian students, particularly in STEM fields. This additional year of work opportunities compared to peers from other countries elevates the appeal of studying in Australia for Indian students. Currently, over 130,000 Indian students benefit from these favorable conditions.
