Microsoft is rolling out its Stream Your Own Game feature to all Game Pass Ultimate subscribers on Xbox Series S/X consoles. This innovative cloud streaming functionality allows players to instantly stream select games they own, in addition to the extensive Game Pass catalogue. Previously exclusive to PC, mobile, tablets, and other devices, this expansion empowers players to dive into their favorite titles without the hassle of downloading.
Effortless Game Streaming
This impactful feature was announced in Microsoft’s April update. The xCloud technology now supports Xbox Series S/X consoles, joining devices like Samsung Smart TVs and Meta Quest headsets. With it, users can immediately start playing, significantly reducing hard drive use. To stream games, navigate to My games & apps > Full library > Owned Games, where games compatible with cloud play will display a cloud badge.
Expanded Game Library
Over 100 titles are now ready to stream for Game Pass Ultimate members. Exciting additions include Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed, LEGO Marvel Superheroes, and more. As Microsoft continues to enhance its offerings, 19 additional games are set to be added soon to this expansive library.
