The Maharashtra cabinet has officially approved the AVGC-XR Policy 2025, aimed at boosting the animation, visual effects, and gaming sectors. With an eye on attracting an impressive rs 50,000 crore investment over the next 25 years, this policy is set to enhance the growth potential of the AVGC-XR industry, creating two lakh jobs.

• Industry Status: The AVGC-XR sector has been recognized as a vital part of Maharashtra's industrial landscape.
• AVGC-XR Parks: Dedicated industrial hubs will be established with cutting-edge facilities in locations including Film City Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Pune, Nashik, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Kolhapur, Satara, and Nagpur.
• Investment Infrastructure: Each park will feature high-speed digital connectivity, motion capture studios, post-production labs, and other advanced facilities critical for the sector.
