Chicago Department of Public Health Announces New COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics

COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics in Chicago
CHICAGO (CBS) -- The Chicago Department of Public Health has announced its schedule of COVID-19 vaccine clinics for the upcoming fall season. Residents aged 6 months and older are strongly encouraged to receive the new fall 2024 COVID-19 vaccine as recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Alongside the COVID-19 vaccine, flu vaccinations will also be offered at various locations.
Vaccination Recommendations
Individuals who have not received a COVID-19 vaccination in the past two months are urged to get the updated vaccine as soon as possible. Both COVID-19 and flu vaccines are accessible at commercial pharmacies. The Department of Public Health advises those with private health insurance or Medicaid/Medicare to consult their pharmacy or doctor’s office for their vaccinations. These vaccines should be covered when obtained through an in-network provider.
